Congratulations to Haley Gibbons of Eau Claire Regis and Team Wisconsin Select Grey on signing to NAIA power Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Haley has been a part of the strong Eau Claire Regis program, which has made multiple trips to the WIAA state tournament. Haley has helped to lead Regis to a 8-2 record and ranked #8 in Division 4.
Interview with Haley:
Which school have you decided to attend and why?
I have signed to attend Davenport University in Grand Rapids Michigan, the college is all brand new and has great academics. The basketball team has been very successful as a program making it to the NAIA national championship majority of the years. I like being a part of a successful high school program and I wanted to continue that in college.
What are your goals for the 2014-2015 school season?
To win conference and make it back to state for the third time.
How long have you played in the Team Wisconsin program?
One year
What were the benefits of playing with Team Wisconsin?
It was fun traveling
What was your favorite Team Wisconsin memory/experience (on or off the court) and why?
Being with my friends and making new ones.
What advice do you have for younger basketball players.
Work hard and get exposure young and grow from there
